Review: Count on You by Sienna Waters

Love isn’t an option. But Cupid isn’t listening…

Under investigation after a fake harassment claim, Carson Maxwell washes up in Hartley, the tiniest town in the world, for one last-ditch attempt to save the career she loves.

But when she meets dedicated nurse Katie Robinson, it begins to dawn on Carson that keeping to her company’s strict no-fraternization rule might not be as easy as she thinks.

Katie loves her town and is fiercely protective of the clinic that Carson is under instruction to close. And she’s not above using her charms to persuade the strangely attractive accountant that the clinic is worth saving.

When country mouse and city mouse clash, the last thing they expect is to fall for each other. Too bad that everyone else in town thinks that they’re the perfect match…4

My thoughts

I gotta give Katie credit for moving to such a small town and making it work. Sienna Waters creates a town that makes me laugh, smile, and root for when the planes go down.

“Life is short, Carson. Life is short and sometimes brutal and painful, and taking what you need, taking what you want, it can’t be that bad, can it? Even if this is only for a day or two days, or an hour, how can we deny all of this?”

There is no doubt that Count On You is complicated due to Carson’s position and objective in Hartley. Then there is the fun that the residents have with Carson. Never mind, the undeniable chemistry between Katie and Carson.

Sienna Waters is one of my favorite romance authors for a reason. Waters makes complicated work into a romance that makes you ache, smile, and maybe get a little heated. (wink) I love the interaction between Katie and Carson. I really want to read Nichelle’s story, but that looks like it could be just as fun.

I could not live in Hartley, so bless Katie and Carson for making it heated enough that I really loved staying there awhile.

I received a free copy of this book and I am writing a review without prejudice and voluntarily.
