Mini-Review: No More Secrets by Jamey Moody

When Krista Kyle’s world is turned upside down, there’s only one person that can save her.

Synopsis

First love is a mighty strong emotion. Krista knows this and has been given several chances over the years to have the life she dreamed of, but something always got in the way.

Melanie Zimmer has loved Krista Kyle for over half her life. She now has the courage to do something about it. All she has to do is help Krista find hers and she knows just the place.

Does Lovers Landing still have the magic that brought them together over thirty years ago? Will Krista finally be brave enough to hold on to her true love?4

My thoughts

We are back at Lover’s Landing and Jamey Moody shows us that happily-ever-afters are not real (Laugh).

Spoiler Alert! The happily-ever-after from “Where Secrets are Safe” is gone in this story. Krissy is single again and not open for a new love. That’s okay as Moody brings back an old love for her.

Moody has the women reminisce and tell their story Melanie’s Kids. We get to seem them fall in love and discuss the challenges of being queer in 1991 and how it will affect their families and careers. It is a real conversation about the obstacles queeer people had to confront in the 1990’s.

Moody provides more heat in this sequel. They also provide a continuous love story between two women, but also Melanie’s family.

No More Secrets is a quick read into the past to celebrate a love that never waned. Jamey Moody makes you believe that first loves can be everlasting – at least if you go to Lovers Landing.

I received a free copy of this book and I am writing a review without prejudice and voluntarily.
