Review: Hisss by Skye MacKinnon

Not all battles are fought with swords…

Series: Urban Fantasy
Cover Design: Ravenborn Covers

Synopsis:

Kat’s world has changed dramatically. Her home is gone, her business destroyed, her confidence frayed.

She’s used to dealing with problems (mostly by killing them), but trying to cope with her newfound siblings, mysterious enemies, and three yummy smelling men is a little too much even for Kat.

It’s time to polish those claws and prepare to forge out a new life – with a little bit of murder, obviously.4

We left off with two more clones, Ivy and Four, showing up after M.E.O.W. blew up the Headquarters. But what do they say about cutting off the head? Or what happens if you don’t….”

Dun, dun, dunnnnnnnn….

Skye MacKinnon has so much going on in the fourth installment of the “Catnip Assassins” in Hisss. We have more clones, enemies, “friends” of war, and battles. Yay!

Kat is battling some inner demons and that is putting a minor point on it. Prepare for blood and gore as she struggles to find out what is going on within her. Kat is also grappling with all of the issues with the other clones. Ii will say that MacKinnon is brilliant with K2. K2 reminds of Helena from Orphan Black (miss that show!!!).

This series just keeps getting better and better. If you haven’t started it…cat scratches on you!

Rating: 5 out of 5.
